The Local No. 7 is the first of its kind to hit Main Street. The name Local No. 7 comes from the significance of the number 7 and history of Tucker. Tucker is 7 miles from Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Decatur, Chamblee, Doraville, and Lilburn; at one time had 7churches; 7 high schools within 7 miles of Tucker, and Tucker was laid out in 1907. All of this made it obvious that we had to name our restaurant with the number “7”. The “Local” relates to the local railroad located just thirty feet from our door.
And what drink comes to mind when you think 7, but whiskey! We offer a wide variety of whiskey’s alongside our ½ pound 100% Angus beef burgers and pub favorites. Come in today and see why Local No. 7 is Tucker’s go-to restaurant for a quick lunch, family friendly dinner, to catch the game or quench your thirst with friends.
Local No. 7 is a proud supporter of Tucker and honored to have co-founded the Tucker Chili Cook-Off, held every March on Main Street. Other events you can find us at include Tucker Day, Taste of Tucker and Christmas on Main.
